Air that comes out of a woman's vagina and its effect on the prayer

Q. There is a woman, when she begins her prayer and goes into the rukoo' or sujood or sitting positions, air comes out of her vagina. At times, it is a such that others around her can even hear it. And at other times, only a small amount comes out and no one can hear it. So does this break the wudoo' and prayer?

A. The air that comes out from the front (i.e. the vagina) does not break the wudoo' (nor the prayer).

Ruling concerning what woman should do if her menses begins when she is in the mosque

Q. A woman's menses began when she was in the mosque of the Messenger of Allah. However, she waited until her family finished their prayers and then left the mosque with them. Did she sin by that?

A. If the situation was such that she couldn't leave the mosque by herself, then there is no blame on her. However, if she is able to leave the mosque by herself, then it is obligatory for here to leave quickly because it is not allowed for the menstruating and postnatal bleeding women and the junub to stay in the mosque. This is based on the saying of Allah, The almighty:

( يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تقربوا الصلاة وأنتم سكارى حتى تعلموا ما تقولون ولا جُنُباً إلّا عابري سبيلٍ ...) "النساء:43"

" O' you who believe, do not approach the prayer when you are in a drunken state until you know that the meaning of what you utter, nor when you in a state of janaabah except when passing through the mosque…"

(Qur'an 4:43 )

Also, it has been reported that the Messenger of Allah said:
"Verily, I do not permit the mosque for the menstruating women nor the junub."
